Dear Colleagues,

Registration for the second SSIEM 2021 Virtual Symposium Day, 17 September 2021, is now open and free to all SSIEM members!

Still under the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic scenario, and after the extraordinarily well-received first on-line meeting experience last year, SSIEM council members decided to organize another stimulating one-day online symposium, to which we welcome you all very much. The aim of this symposium day is to keep our community connected showing recent and innovative aspects in different fields of the metabolic medicine from all over the world.

Our online symposium day brings together an exciting scientific program including sessions on new biomarkers and novel therapeutic strategies in inborn errors of metabolism. Interesting debates on treatment options will be also discussed in the Adult Group and Dietitian Group. As new aspects, we will devote time to interactive Q&A discussions and we will have the participation of young researchers presenting innovative studies. Additionally, we will welcome the traditional Komrower lecture. All recorded lectures will remain available for 3 months.

Please visit the website, view the Scientific Programme and register.

We look forward to ‘seeing’ you in September.

On behalf of the Organisation Team,
Angeles Garcia-Cazorla and Fanny Mochel
